MagicFont is a Yellow Magic companion product designed to make directory publishing just a little bit
easier and a whole lot more predictable. 

 

In a nutshell, MagicFont identifies and eliminates the font issues often encountered when your output
files arrive at your printing company with fonts the printing company either does not have or can’t use
because they are incompatible with their fonts. 

 

When this happens, the printer may make quick font substitutions that may change the appearance
of your page or ad, or that may even delay the printing process and prompt a call for advice from your
printing company.  With MagicFont you can eliminate these font issues.

 

Bring MagicFont in house and use the program to scan Yellow Magic or Sleight-of-Hand PostScript files
before sending the output to the printer.  When you run this program, MagicFont analyzes and embeds
necessary PostScript fonts within the file.

process” on a PostScript file.  On the first pass, MagicFont analyzes and identifies every font
